SublimationExtreme Embroidery and Printing
Funny Term for a Terrific Process
In the printing industry, sublimation is a chemical term not a psychological one. It refers to the chemical transition in-state. In dye sublimation, dye vaporizes, going from solid to gas, skipping the liquid state normally in-between. This digital heat transfer process far surpasses ink-jet printing in quality. The resulting detail and color are amazing!
The process can be used on materials such as plastic, card, paper, fabric and more. Of course you can use this technology on t-shirts, but sublimation works great on fabrics that other printing techniques do not. It can also be used on ceramic mugs or plates. Or ask us about other possibilities.
Exquisite color and detail.
When it comes to printing, the difference is as dramatic as going from black and white television to high-definition.
Sublimation doesn’t require solvents, so your footprint is gentle on the earth.
Take your design beyond the limits of a frame or border! Instead of a design confined to the front of your t-shirt, you can wrap the image around it. Heat transfers are flexible so the surface doesn’t have to be flat. Think about the design possibilities that advantage opens up!

You don’t have to know that “cyan – magenta – yellow – black” is the basis for four-color printing, or how it differs from RGB “red – green – blue.” You only need to appreciate what you see. And you will!
Sublimation and digital heat transfer processing provide the highest resolution printing. If you need photo-realistic quality, sublimation is the way to go.
